The WCCC SMGA (Senior Men Golf Association) is a group of golfers at Walnut Creek Country Club in Mansfield. We play every Thursday (Except Holidays). Tee times are 8:30AM March through October, then 9:00AM November thru February.
We play a variety of handicapped formats that include: 3 Man Scrambles, 3 Man Shambles, 2 Man Best Balls, the Standard Individual Play (always flighted), 3 Man Point Quota (Stableford) and in some cases, split formats. We have several Free Guest Days throughout (except during the Pandemic). Some special events that require two days of play will include Wednesday or Friday Play. Player skill levels range from very low single digit to the low 20's. The maximum handicap accepted is 30 for competition (subject to verification).
Interested in joining? You must be a current golfing member of WCCC and over 50 Years Old. You must also have a WCCC maintained USGA Handicap. Those individuals that convert from other clubs will have to switch their handicap to a WCCC handicap in order to play in the SMGA.
